Oral Prophylaxis

A prophylaxis dental appointment is a routine, preventive procedure. One of our dental staff will examine and check your medical history to see if there have been any changes in your oral health. If you’re a first-timer, you have to undergo a complete dental checkup in order for us to properly assess your teeth and gums. During our preventive dental checkup, we will also perform a physical and visual examination of your mouth and neck to screen for oral cancer.
